All the Pretty Horses (The Border Trilogy, Book 1)

I was surprised by how much I liked this book. It's not as almost gratuitously violent as some of his other works (Blood Meridian, etc.), and the prose is beautiful at times. It's also a pretty short book; would reccomend.
